The Suntory Museum Tempozan in Osaka has announced it will be closing its doors at the end December 2010. Suntory Holdings Limited, which operates the Museum, will merge with the Suntory Music Foundation on 1 September 2009, to become the Suntory Arts Foundation. The Foundation says it will concentrate its fine arts activities at the Suntory Museum of Art in Tokyo. Suntory Holdings is currently in consultation with the City of Osaka regarding the fate of the facility after December 2010. Activities at the Museum will continue as usual through December 2010.
