Shiman – Akari
More than 100 artists have descended on the Gunma prefecture town of Nakanojo, an area otherwise known for its Shima and Sawatari hot springs, to stage the second Nakaonojo Biennale. Evenings during the festival bring Shiman-Akari, an illumination project courtesy of bamboo light tubes.
