■Event
Bijutsuken (INU) is a rather loosely active body of artists and critics orgainzed to think about art and its doctrines. For their fourth event they’ve planned a symposium titled ‘Art/Society/Revolution’, a realistic exchange among the panelists touching upon a status quo that tends to perceive these keywords as a theme with naïve facets. Panelists: Ushiro Ryuta (artist, Chim↑Pom), Matsui Shigeru (poet), Aoyama Satoru (artist), and Tsuchiya Seiichi (art critic). The symposium is being held at the Fuchu Art Museum in conjunction with Open Studio 48: Aoyama Satoru Labour’s Lab running through 14 February.
