The Grand Palais, Paris

The third edition of MONUMENTA, in which a leading international contemporary artist is invited to create a new site-specific work for the 13,500 m² Nave of the Grand Palais in Paris, opened this week. The project launched in 2007 featuring German artist Anselm Kiefer, followed in 2008 by Richard Serra. This round features an sound and visual installation titled Personnes(literally ‘people’ and ‘noboides’) by the French artist Christian Boltanski.
