Photographer Ishikawa Naoki will hold a talk and booksigning to mark the publication of Archipelago, a collection of photos from his travels to Japan’s northern and southern islands that question what is Japan, what is a national border, what is the world? As well, an eponymous exhibition will be held at Shinagawa Cannon Gallery S and photos from the collection included in the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography’s Emerging Artists Exhibition Vol. 8 (19 December – 7 February).
