Sotheby’s presents Arab and Iranian art sale

One of the liveliest times of year in the auction world has arrived. And this year Sotheby’s (London) will present for the first time a section of Arab and Iranian Art on the 16th in its annual October Contemporary Art Sale. Highlights include Mona Hatoum’s Untitled (Baalbeck Birdcage) (1999), Farhad Moshiri’s Cowboy and Indian (2007) and Y. Z. Kami’s Blue Dome I (2008). The sale features 46 works, which together are estimated to realize in excess of £1 million.
