Tabaimo: Danmen （Seigensha）
To celebrate the publication of the catalogue to her solo show Danmen, Tabaimo will join the deputy editor of Brutus, Suzuki Yoshio, in a talk sesion. Over the years Brutus has looked at art and culture in features ranging from profiles of contemporary artists the likes of Nara Yoshitomo, Murakami Takashi, Sugimoto Hiroshi, and Tabaimo to probing ‘What is a National Treasure?’ (2007) and demystifying Buddhist statues (2009). Tabaimo and Suzuki have chosen ‘discovering talent’ as the subject of their chat. The session will be followed by a book signing.
