Performa 09, the visual art performance biennial, will take place in New York City over the course of three weeks in November. The third staging of the event presents works by 150 artists including Candice Breitz, Mike Kelley, William Kentridge, Arto Lindsay, Yoko Ono, Tacita Dean and Jung Yeondoo. Among the works to be performed at various places throughout the city are 11 works commissioned specially for the biennial.
