London-based artist Anish Kapoor joins forces with Japanese architects on a project for Expo 2010, currently underway in Shanghai. Kapoor created the gate linking the realms of reality and dream in the Golden Gate Palace of Ideal Lifestyle exhibition at the Japan Industry Pavilion. Japanese architect Fujimoto Sou was responsible for exhibition design. Kapoor will also present work in an interactive relationship with works by architect Kuma Kengo and the late designer Kuramata Shiro at INBETWEEN, an exhibition curated by Shimizu Toshio opening at the Shanghai Gallery of Art in June.

Kapoor also has a solo show underway at SCAI THE BATHHOUSE in Tokyo.
