Kyoto Art Center is calling for exhibition proposals from curators and artists for its new Exhibition Draft 2011 project. The two-stage review process involves an initial screening of application materials by judges Hasegawa Yuko (Chief Curator, Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo) and Hirayoshi Yukihiro (Associate Professor, Museum and Archives, Kyoto Institute of Technology) followed by a presentations of the selected projects. The winner will recieve a grant of 500,000 yen plus various forms of support to realize his or her proposed exhibition at Kyoto Art Center in February 2011. Applications must be postmarked by 30 April.
