Call for Frieze Writer’s Prize 2010

Award

Frieze magazine is calling for entries for the 2010 edition of its annual Frieze Writer’s Prize, established in 2006 to support emerging critics. Writers are invited to submit an unpublished review (700 words in English, translations permitted) of a recent contemporary art exhibition by the closing date of 25 June. Applicants must be over 18-years old and have not had more than three pieces of art writing published in a magazine or newspaper. The winner (to be announced in September) will receive £2,000 and be commissioned to write a review for the October issue of Frieze. Previous winners have gone on to contribute regularly to the magazine.
