Ozawa Tsuyoshi The Carpet from the Sky
Tokyo’s Image Forum will hold double-feature screenings this weekend and next of two anthology works on video by filmmakers and visual artists. One, planned and composed by the pioneer of Japanese experimental film, Matsumoto Toshio, comprises six short films by six experimental filmmakers taking ‘seeing’ as their theme. The other, produced by the NGO art initiative Pahenro, consists of seven short films shot in Nepal, India, Tibet and Shanghai that by Japanese artists active on the visual art scene including Oki Hiroyuki, Nakazawa Hideki and Ozawa Tsuyoshi that ‘speak of Asia’.
