Sendai Art Walk is a multi-event biennial launched in 2005 with the aim of promoting the visual arts. On the roster this year are exhibitions of works by Takahashi Kyota at the Sendai Mediateque (22 November – 24 December) and by Hirano Jiro at the Sendai Astronomical Observatory (18 November – 20 December), along with light and sound installations at participating venues. Other events include lectures, symposiums and workshops.
