Since 2008, BEAMS has been expanding on their BEAMING ARTS project as a vehicle for bridging the everyday realm of fashion and the otherworldly realm of art. This year, taking ‘Meeting of the Trees’ as his theme, photographer Tsuda Nao presents the BEAMS Christmas tree. Starting today, Tsuda’s trees will appear in BEAMS display windows and on shopping bags nationwide, and on Christmas Day, the artist will give a talk on ‘the similarities between trees and people’.
