Video art and cinema practice from across Asia and the Middle East with works by nearly 50 artists and filmmakers structured in two segments: ‘Smalls acts’, an exhibition of performance-based artists’ videos, and film screenings (beginning October 7). The exhibition ranges from early works by Nam June Paik to contemporary works by artists such as Song Dong; the film screenings will present works by Apichatpong Weerasethakul among many others. Integrating the cinema and video exhibitions creates relationships between moving image works produced for various audiences and contexts.
