Gallery BMB（Mumbai）
The traveling installation launched in 2006 in Mumbai, returns home to mark the twentieth year in the art career of Kerala-born artist and curator Bose Krishnamachari. Positioned as a knowledge laboratory for the people, this archival project comprises a collection of records of various contemporary visual art practices – including books, DVDs and CDs – drawn from museums galleries, shops and the street. It presents a new approach to information sharing, unlike the conventional pedagogy of existing art institutions. Reflecting Bose’s wide-ranging interests that span architecture, design, and furniture, the space represents the dynamics of information gathering.
