Take Ninagawa (Tokyo)
Charming but tinged with touches of madness, or perhaps hetauma-esque (bad technique / good result) but with sensitivity, or maybe girly with glimpses of macho inclinations (?) …. That inscrutable perspective of the world unfolds in the form of a miniature amusement-park-like installation that fills the entire gallery space. And together with the videos buried here and there throughout, we soon find ourselves feeling like one of the inhabitants of this weird and wonderful world.
