A part of October Contemporary, an event staged each year in October by art museums, galleries and alternative spaces in Hong Kong. Curated by Hasegawa Yuko (chief curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo), A Blow to the Everyday features Japanese artists who, by jolting society, are attempting to awaken and shift our consciousness. Exhibiting artists: Chim↑Pom, Hagihara Kenichi, Koizumi Meiro, Okubo Ayako, Taguchi Yukihiro, Takatani Shiro, and Wah.
