Fukui Atsushi and Kawashima Hideaki: convolvulus

10.3 – 11.22
Michael Ku Gallery (Taipei)

Installation view

Two Japanese artists born in 1960: Kawashima Hideaki, whose fleshless portraits of young girls made up of only facial features and hair appear to float in picture plane, and Fukui Atsushi, whose visionary landscapes are devoid of human presence. Convolvulus marks the first time these two artists have exhibited together since morning glory (2001, Tomio Koyama Gallery) curated by Nara Yoshitomo.
