RMB City: A Second Life City Planning by China Tracey 2007/2009

The first solo show in Australasia by the Chinese artist who presented the latest developments in her RMB City project in 2009 at the Shiseido Gallery in Tokyo. Here she presents four works on video and one photographic series – ranging from her early Cosplayers (2004) to her ongoing virtual project on Second Life, RMB City (2007) – exploring the theme at the root of all these works as well as the show: utopia.
