hiromiyoshii (Kiyosumi)
The first show in Japan in two-and-a-half years of the creative unit headed by Hiro Sugiyama. A series of visual panels rising from the center of the gallery space like a row of stone tablets; new video work; a café in the form of an installation taking ‘The Last Supper’ (?) as its motif…. The exhibition title AD and installation purport to imbue Christianity-related expression with characteristics unique to the units’ approach: the fusion of analog and digital, art and design.
