Following his large-scale solo show, Teppei KANEUJI: Melting City / Empty Forest, in 2008 at the Yokohama Museum of Art, the young artist’s works have been finding increasingly wider international outlets. Kaneuji is known for amassing familiar manufactured goods made of plastic and wood according to his own set of rules and using resin or powders to recompose them, creating new objects or environments. This exhibition of new works marks the sixth edition in a yearlong series organized by curator Amano Kazuo (Toyota Municipal Museum of Art) at the gallery run by Musashino Art University.
