An artist who has been active on the international art scene since the mid-90s presents three-dimensional works, paintings and drawings that until now have never been shown in Japan. Mori has said that the show’s feature work Flat Stone was inspired by the stone circles of the Jomon period that were dedicated to the rising sun of the winter solstice. A space that may cause us to consider ancient rituals, what ‘nature ‘ and ‘cosmos’ mean to modern man and the way people live their lives?
