DOB Hualamphong gallery (Bangkok)
A group show by emerging female artists based in Chiang Mai who collectively call themselves Kasalong. Common to all six members (Kanchalee Suksomran, Pattree Chimnok, Kanittha Puangsri, Siriporn Khuenmamuang, Netikorn Butsabong, and Somjit Phuangkrathok) is a channeling of experiences from their vulnerable positions as women in Thai society into their works. Each artist however presents a stylistically individual approach to works inspired by the likes of nature, everyday living, and tradition.
