Solo show by a Japanese artist whose hyper-real sculptures of flowers and plants, delicately carved from wood, grow out of the most unusual of places in the gallery space – at times even being overlooked! For this exhibition, Suda will create a new work inspired by the museum’s Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd Collection of traditional Asian art, which will be installed alongside pieces from the Collection that have been selected by the artist.
