◇Exhibition summary

◇Exhibition purpose

In the Shioe art museum, I hold an exhibition of Asuka Takamatsu resident in Takamatsu-shi as a part of the Shioe art project. Takamatsu was born in Takamatsu-shi for 1,984 years. I complete Masters degree course in municipal Onomichi graduate school art graduate course. In a flow of traditional picture technique, I grope for a two-dimensional expression method while announcing the work now based in Kagawa via private exhibition “Millers” (Tokyo Wonder site Hongo) in private exhibition “trimming” (Marugame-shi Gennichiro Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art molding studio), 2010 in winning TURNER ACRYL AWARD art pocket notebook prize, 2009 in 2007.

The picture was thrown open by a role to copy a motif after the invention of the photograph realistically, and the expression that itself became independent became in the form. She constitutes a screen from the images such as the photograph which I photographed by oneself and the image which I pick it up from the Internet and collected, the best scene of the movie and pictures it as the subject of the picture. I express the picture which Takamatsu pursuing the existence of the motif and the imaginary nature, the difference that it is in the form as a painter living in the present age pictures until air and a flow at time to drift in a dimension and comprise charm to draw a beholder into a screen. I display it mainly on the picture work which she pictured “the deer” which is one of the wrestling motifs in now now to pursue “the mimesis of the image” that is the important production theme of own at the exhibition. In addition, other than the work display that a child of Shioe Uenishi Elementary School produced with Takamatsu, I hold a workshop and press the charm of the picture of Takamatsu.
