Memory of the 25th anniversary of the Takamatsu-shi art museum opening
大竹伸朗展憶速 SHINRO OHTAKE: OKUSOKU VELOCITY OF MEMORY

　This time I hold a private exhibition of Shinro Otake in the Takamatsu-shi art museum. In late years it is the trial that it is said to have many aspects and continuity of the Otake space adding to acceleration have a true experience more and more by repeating a session in both halls, and holding the private exhibition by the theme that is different in a thing to carry out the book exhibition in cooperation with Marugame-shi Gennichiro Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art.

　The theme in this museum “it is with the display constitution that did “憶速” (おくそく), “speed” of “the memory” and a relationship of the creation in the big axis”. By doing temporal axes straight daringly in “whole view” 展 of 2006; of the expression in Otake fell, and was able to watch width. I show the form of the series different until now and the new connection of works that it has been thought and a figure doing resonance each other by, so to speak, untying temporal axes by this display, and knitting it again as a gentle link of some sections to explain to the next page. Shinro Otake is someone, or the expression is anything, or it is with a big hint to find the answer, and this theme will be that Otake works differing in the media and a motif in a keyword such as the “memory” “movement” “speed” “time” in the cut end bind the image which is new with the audience in a meeting place together. In addition to the past characteristic work series, a new work, a recent work, a lot of having not yet occurred principal crops exhibit it, too. Furthermore, I introduce the total picture of “the hand bookbinding”, the many “sketchbooks” becoming the first public exhibition again.

※A certificate of the physically disabled, a nursing notebook or the mental patient health welfare notebook owner is no charge for admission
※Saturday, August 3 is no charge for admission for the day of the art museum
