10/29 Friday start “Netherlands art & design newspeak” 展

I start “Netherlands art & design newspeak” 展 on Friday, October 29, 2010 in Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art.

The Netherlands design which attracted attention by the avant-garde approach from the 1990s raises presence backed by the change of the times when many people have begun to feel sense of incongruity in mass consumption society and carries the role of the trend leader in the now world design. They showed the totally new sense of values in opposite poles with the design in the 20th century in pursuit of previous comfort and functionality.
The work said to be コンセプチュアル is based on “environment and consumption”, “a city and a social system”, a contemporary critical mind including “the succession of the history and the culture” while I answer in the affirmative, and respecting the existence of the person and asks us about future choice.

Malta in エングルブレクト, Taketo moco participate from Ted no ten (contemporary jewelry) that is representative artist / designer to ask about the communication with a person in particular and the relations with the thing and a person and the person by the book exhibition, Martin Bath (product design) and the field of art.
Their work serves as catalytic action bringing a dynamic chemical change in our life sense by the contact with the work.
Please enjoy the essence of the latest Netherlands art & design which is enlarged in surprise and humor if imagination is natural.
