Yann Tomita Concert at Hara Museum

The Hara Museum is pleased to announce a two-day performance by a cutting-edge musician, Yann Tomita, who has composed avant-garde music pieces as well as pop songs that anyone can hum. He is the first Japanese professional steel drum musician, and the first Japanese Hip Hop producer, who runs the music research institute Audio Science Laboratory.

As the weather is fine, the performance will be held in the courtyard. Please note that you will be asked to seat on the ground or stand to see the performance. The same-day tickets will be sold at 4:00 pm, limited to TWO tickets per person.
Should people start to queue for the same-day tickets and their number exceeds the number of available tickets, we will post the information on our web site.

-Should you wish to enjoy the exhibition, or wish for early entrance to the venue, we recommend you to come to the museum between 11:00 am and 4:30 pm. Please be aware that the museum will close temporarily at 5:00 pm.

For those with the same-day ticket reservation (only valid if the weather is fine):

11:00 am Hara Museum opens
*Ticket booth opens for those with ADVANCE TICKET RESERVATION. We will exchange your tickets with numbered tickets. Entrance to the venue is in the order of the number, starting from a lower number.
1:00 pm The decision to sell same-day tickets will be announced.
*Should the weather be fine, those with SAME-DAY TICKET RESERVATION may start exchanging their tickets with numbered tickets.
4:00 pm Same-day tickets will be sold, should the weather be fine.
4:30 pm Last entry to the museum.
5:00 pm The museum is temporarily CLOSED for preparation. Please wait in the front garden for the door to re-open.
5:30 pm Door opens for those with advance ticket reservation.
5:40 pm Door opens for those with same-day ticket reservation.
5:50 pm Door opens for those with same-day tickets.
6:00 pm Performance starts.
7:45 pm Performance ends.

*Subject to change depending on circumstances.
*Please be aware that as the ticket booth will be extremely crowded in the evening, it may take some time to exchange your tickets with the numbered tickets. If you have reserved tickets, we recommend you to come to the venue earlier.

*Fee includes museum admission. Guests can enjoy ongoing exhibition, William Eggleston: Paris-Kyoto prior to the performance.

Extra seating in the courtyard may be available, depending on the weather conditions.

Direction
15 minute walk from JR Shinagawa station Takanawa exit or 5 minutes by taxi. Or take the Tan 96 to the Gotanda station, get off at Gotenyama stop and walk for three minutes. Please refrain from arriving by car.
