Gradisca Hotflops Sandals
It was love at first sight.

While on her honeymoon in Hawaii, the American Linda Spann came up with the idea of developing a new sandal that was comfortable and durable. The result was Hotflops, made of ethylene-vinyl acetate, or EVA, a flexible material that is lighter than regular rubber, with superb elasticity even in cold weather.

Two types of EVA material are combined in a dual-structure: soft EVA for the midsole and tough EVA for the bottom sole. The midsole and the thong form an integral unit (the thong does not penetrate to the bottom sole), which is one reason for the sandal’s superior durability.

Shown above is the “Martini”(a stylish sandal with a high heel height of 3.8 cm.)
