Exhibition 2012
Jean-Michel Othoniel: My Way
January 7 (Saturday) – March 11 (Sunday), 2012

The Hara Museum of Contemporary Art is pleased to present Jean-Michel Othoniel: My Way. As his first solo exhibition in Japan, this highly acclaimed retrospective showcasing 25 years of the artist’s career was first launched at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and will be reproduced within the unique space of the Hara Museum, formerly a private residence. The 60-some pieces on display range from those made early in his career using sulphur and beeswax to his most recent large-scale sculptures made with vibrantly colored Murano glass from Italy.
