From Hara Museum ARC
Lives Lived in Pictures is the exhibition currently on view in the Kankai Pavilion. It features works that show various everyday scenes from a distant past . Why not come catch a glimpse of Japanese culture, along with some beautiful autumn scenery?
In the museum shop, you will find two items that have been an essential part of Japanese food culture since ancient times: the mame sara and soba choko.
Amabro produces goods that bring the eternal beauty of ancient times into our everyday modern lives. These items are the result of an exchange between amabro and artisans from the former Hizen Province in northwestern Kyushu. The mame sara, or small serving dish, and soba choko, or soba-noodle sauce bowl, feature traditional patterns superimposed with an amabro-produced contemporary design. Cute in shape and unique in color, they can be used for both daily use and special occasions. Why not add them to your collection today?
