From The Museum Shop at the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art
“Izumi Kato Soft Vinyl Doll in Exclusive Colors for the Hara Museum” is now on sale at The Museum Shop of the Hara Museum in Tokyo. This is a second collaboration item with the artist Izumi Kato since the IZUMI KATO x HARA MUSEUM Original Floating Action Pen.
This is a soft polyvinyl chloride doll in colors that are exclusive to the Hara Museum. Produced by Linden Inc., the famous doll manufacturer, the new doll consists of an ivory body hand painted by craftsmen in red, gold and green, colors chosen exclusively for the Hara Museum by the artist.
It was designed not to stand on its own two feet to encourage a closer bond between doll and owner, who can dress the doll in anyway they fancy, stand it up, rotate its head and put it to sleep. Adults and children alike will love its soft body.
It comes in a box illustrated by the artist.
