Food Art Relax Music=FARM 01

From Hara Museum ARC (Gunma)

On Sunday, September 5, Hara Museum ARC becomes a FARM for one day.
The concept behind “FARM 01” is a cultural festival for mature adults staged in a spatial artistic space.

The keywords are F=Food A=Art R=Relax M=Music.
There will be about 30 tenants in the front garden such as café, cooking class, bric-a-brac store mainly doing their business in Gunma, to form a market. Fine foodstuffs, fresh vegetables, sweets, healthy dishes, selected craftworks and handmade goods that you can only obtain at FARM will be there.

Also, there will be live performances by “Raiji & Chips” (from 1:00 pm; popular among the locals as well as outside of Gunma), “Kaze” (from 2:00 pm; acoustic guitar) and “Kotringo” (from 3:00 pm; singer-song writer, piano) *fee is included in the total admission.
Kotringo studied music in Berklee, Boston and has performed with various artists through live concerts. Her piano technique and distinctive voice are highly praised and recognized by many, including Ryuichi Sakamoto.

At Hara Museum ARC, you can enjoy contemporary as well as traditional East-Asian artworks.
Outdoor installations by Olafur Eliasson, Lee Bul and others are absolutely breath-taking!

Take the Kan-etsu Expressway to Shibukawa Ikaho Interchange. Go in the direction of Ikaho Onsen for 8 km (about 15 min.) .
