In order to further appreciate the exhibition, “Jae-Eun Choi—Forests of Asoka,” we will be holding two exhibition-related events (in Japanese only).

Dialogue between Jae-Eun Choi and Hiroshi Minamishima (Professor, Joshibi University of Art and Design)

–A dialogue between Jae-Eun Choi and Hiroshi Minamishima, who featured the artist in the exhibition “To the Depth” (1987) held at the Spiral Garden. He will talk about the development of Choi’s work, from her inspiration from the Ikebana flower arrangement to her thoughts about the space and the universe, and about the charm of her work.


Jae-Eun Choi, The Other side of Illusion, 2010

October 31 (Sun.) 2:30-3:30 pm
Lecture by Keiko Nakamura (Director General, JT Bio-history Research Hall)

–Lecture by Keiko Nakamura who has been an acquaintance of the artist Jae-Eun Choi, will talk about Choi’s work from the perspective of bio-history.
