Art bus BloomBUS! is now running

Hara Museum of Contemporary Art (Tokyo)

Ongoing exhibition at the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art (Tokyo)
William Eggleston: Paris – Kyoto (until August 22)
The exhibition will be featured in the “Sunday Museum” (NHK educational TV) on Sunday, June 27.

On a sunny Sunday of June 6, the BloomBUS! free shuttle bus service which runs between JR Shinagawa station and the Hara Museum started.

For the design of the bus, artist Yasuhiro Suzuki took as his inspiration the many large and small windows that make the Hara Museum the unique place that it is. A bus as mobile art linked to the museum is sure to bring a feeling of fresh surprise to all those who ride it.

Every Sunday morning, the BloomBUS staff turns a standard bus into the BloomBUS! by applying so-called the “windows” equipped with mirrors and lenses.

As it was the debut of this art bus, the entire BloomBUS! staff came for preparation.
