Today we bring you a long-overdue report on the sale of the My Drawing Room Charity Postcards, the limited edition set of large-format postcards produced in collaboration with the artist Nara Yoshitomo. Thanks to all of you, we are delighted to report that the entire supply was sold out as of December 24. Thus, for the second half of the fiscal year, a total of 535,500 yen was presented on January 31 to Japan Platform, the international emergency humanitarian aid organization.
Proceeds for the first half of the fiscal year came to 542,503 yen, which was sent to the Japan International Volunteer Center (JVC) on July 20 (click here for that report). Altogether, we were able to donate a grand total of 1,078,003 yen towards reconstruction efforts in the affected areas.
We sincerely thank Yoshitomo Nara and all those who purchased the postcard set for their generosity and cooperation in this effort!
