On Tuesday, May 11, the press conference of the 12th Venice Architectural Biennale was held at the Hara Museum in Tokyo upon request from Kazuyo Sejima, Director of the 12th Architectural Biennale and the Biennale office.

–She is the first Japanese and first woman to be chosen as the director of the Venice Architectural Biennale.
The news of the receipt of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, often referred to as the Nobel Prize of architecture, by the architectural unit SANAA (Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa) is still fresh in our minds.
