As you might envision a landscape while listening to music, do you sometimes feel you can hear the sounds depicted in a picture? That is what these selected works of art entice you to do: to view the wind, water, a cheering crowd, animals, and to hear them in your mind’s ear. They say art is made by the heart to be enjoyed by the heart. This exhibition invites you to enjoy art from a slightly different perspective.

Directions: By train: Take the Joetsu Shinkansen to Takasaki, change to the Joestu Line, and disembark at Shibukawa. From Shibukawa, ARC is 10 minutes away by taxi or 15 minutes by bus (take the Ikaho Onsen bus to ″Green Bokujo Mae″). By car: 8 kilometers (about 15 minutes) from the Kan-etsu Expressway Shibukawa Ikaho Interchange (in the direction of Ikaho Onsen).
