GUNMA ARC Summer event part 1

Summer vacation has come!
Every summer, “Let’a Make Uchiwa” workshop is held at ARC.
This year, it will be held on August 1, 2, 7 and 8.

Workshop from last year

Participants will have a chance to make their own “uchiwa” (Japanese fan). Each participant will dye Japanese washi paper and paste it onto uchiwa ribs. Ribs are made of bamboo which gives off nice scent. Instructions will be given by the museum staff. You can join the workshop on the spot if there is a vacancy.
