■Yoshitomo Nara, My Drawing Room (August 2004-)
This is a permanent installation by Yoshitomo Nara located at the end of the second floor of the museum, made at the time of his solo exhibition Yoshitomo Nara—From the Depth of My Drawer (2004) held at the Hara Museum. The artist literally worked in this room for five days during the preparation for the exhibition. Empty wine bottles and unfinished drawings, color pencils, small dolls, etc.—items favored by the artists are scattered everywhere. This room, which resembles an artist’s studio, is to be visited periodically by the artist who will update the room to reflect his ideas at the time.
