A Talk by Wong Han Min, private collector of cinema memorabilia
to be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011.
This is a rare opportunity to meet a private collector of cinema memorabilia. Mr. Wong Han Min has amassed an immense collection of rare items, a small part of which is included in the exhibition on view: Life of Imitation. Mr. Wong will talk about his collection, as well as the early history of movie theaters in Singapore and developments in cinema culture from a collector’s point of view. The talk will be given in English with consecutive Japanese translation.
