Ecological Consciousness through Green Energy

Hara Museum ARC (Gunma) has begun using green energy with the introduction of 491.52 square meters of solar panels this January.
Positioned a few hundred meters east of the museum, the panels overlook a pasture where sheep can be seen peacefully grazing. With this move, Hara Museum ARC is now satisfying a part of its energy requirements through the renewable power of the sun.
[Ongoing exhibitions]
Two exhibitions, “Cosmos: Selections from the Hara Museum Collection” and “Selections from the Hara Rokuro Collection” are currently on view from Saturday, March 26. Please note that the museum is open only on weekends and holidays for the time being due to the effects of the Northeastern Japan Earthquake, with partial change in exhibition contents.
