Dialogue between Katsura Yamaguchi and Izumi Kato [Hara Museum ARC, Gunma]

This event brings together Katsura Yamaguchi, president of the Japan branch of Christie’s, one of the leading auction houses in the world, and Izumi Kato, whose solo exhibitions are currently on view at both the Hara Museum and Hara Museum ARC. Mr. Yamaguchi is an expert in Far Eastern art and a close friend of the artist. For 90 minutes, the two will talk about the juxtaposition of traditional art with Kato’s works in the Kankai Pavilion and present their views of the Asian and global art markets as actors on the international stage.
*The talk will be held in Japanese.

Date: December 1 (Sunday) 14:00 – 15:30 (door opens at 13:30)
Venue: Café d’Art at Hara Museum ARC
Fee: General 2,500 yen, Student 2,200 yen (high school and university), 2,000 yen (junior high school), Hara Museum members 1,500 yen
*Includes admission fee and one drink.
