Born in Leicester, Great Britain in 1969. Currently lives and works in Berlin.
Hommage, pastiche, double image, quotation, and dummy.
Monk has developed his unique style of creation with much wit and humor incorporating the appropriation of masterpieces by the contemporary artists who he admires as heroes.
6 wool textiles with strong words would suggest matters of the history of art, gender issues, and the current situation of the world in the middle of an epidemic.
