The gallery is presenting a group presentation of gallery artists Yoko DaiharaKazuko MiyamotoShinro OhtakeDanh Vo, and Tsuruko Yamazaki with Tsuyoshi Maekawa. Unfolding through a series of dialogues between different practices, the presentation will show how artists from across diverse contexts and generations make use of industrial materials to expand the possibilities of art and social commentary while also investigating fundamental artistic concerns of form, surface, color, and texture. A spotlight presentation of Daihara’s textile paintings can also be viewed online via OVR: Hong Kong.

Concurrent to her solo exhibition at Para Site, where she is presenting a newly commissioned installation and performance, Aki Sasamoto is participating in the Encounters sector, curated by Alexie Glass-Kantor. Sasamoto is presenting Talking in Circles in Talking (2024), a multimedia sound installation incorporating melting ice blocks and found objects.
