In Kumamoto-shi Museum of Contemporary Art, I just hold “scenery – 展 of the picture vol.3- prayer of the light”.
This “picture 展 of the light” is a thing to introduce work group of the national leper house Megumu Kikuchi maple Sonoe image club of Koshi-shi, Kumamoto to, and, in 2003, it is with the third exhibition secondary to 2005. From 385 points of works which I, so to speak, pictured by self-education, I introduce 76 points without people of entrance having a special teacher in a daily living this time. Though there would be various discrimination and prejudice, in the work which has been drawn, I can feel the scenery of the heart full of the light such as thought and the prayer of picture clubs.
In addition, I relieve the leper quickly in Hawaiian Molokai Island which work of Susumu Kinoshita overwhelming a thing watching Kobayashi Hull or the person of the blind female street singer of national sanatorium entrance in the minute black and white in a model and late Yasutake Funakoshi produced, and the Damiens father who lost his life for Hansen’s disease by oneself displays “the Damiens father” of the model.
I investigate the human root-like problem that Hansen’s disease brought and “prayer” and am an exhibition staring at the thought of the person of entrance from the side called the art expression again.
