Yusuke Asai of the artist did the next bear for preliminary inspection of the work production at a held exhibition this spring in Kumamoto-shi Museum of Contemporary Art.
As for this purpose, it is gathered preliminary inspection and the soil for production of “the pictures by distemper”. After arrival, I went from an airport to Mount Aso at once.
Because was the back of the first big chill this winter; Aso is a snow scene.
I look for the soil which is usable to a picture by distemper while confirming a layer of the soil to see under the snow.
Soil has a thing of various colors and feel of a material, and there seem to be the soil which turns to picture it, the soil which are not so.
Asai that the most moving passage identifies soil directly.
Of course there is the cow, too. I enjoyed the Nature of Aso.
And to Aso-jinja Shrine which is one of the destinations.
This Aso-jinja Shrine is the historical Shinto shrine which is famous for grand great tower gate and torch-fishing Shinto ritual.

From a figure of Asai who confronted soil seriously, I really visited the each land, and it was felt that I took at all good care of the process that gathered soil while interchanging with local people, and “a picture by distemper” pictured with soil of Kumamoto enjoyed it more and more.
Asai is going to perform work production with the soil which I gathered this time in Kumamoto (April /2 week degree).
And the work is displayed in “water, fire, earth” 展 started in April in this museum.
