What will “distance” be? Or when is it a thing to feel to be?
When I stare at oneself and face a family and a lover, a friend and think about a social problem and a world event, there is some “distance” (distance) there. It is physical, and it may be called the psychological distance. I can form one’s “posture and situation” (stance) simply because there are this distance and sense of distance and may be connected to the world.
By the book exhibition, I approach in a relationship of us and various “distance” to connect the world through a robot and media work, a picture, a sculpture, a photograph, six countries including the picture of the world, the work of 17 sets of researchers and artists.
