APT6, the sixth triennial devoted to Asian-Pacific contemporary art, kicks off in Brisbane tomorrow, 5 December. Among the many events slated for opening weekend are artist talks Subodh Gupta and Sawa Hiraki, a performance by Charwei Tsai, and a discussion about Writing About Asia Pacific Art that includes as panelists ART iT’s own editor-in-chief Ozaki Tetsuya and ArtBlogger Andrew Maerkle. The Triennial’s cinema program will screen 14 films by Kitano Takeshi.
